Covid
Infection Prevention & Control safety Protocols
Even though public health measures related to Covid have eased, we are taking precautions and follow infection control safety protocols to keep you healthy & safe. While masking requirements have been removed we recommend that all patients wear masks inside the office.
Patient Screening
Ahead of your appointment, we will email or call you to determine if you have any symptoms before arriving at our office.
When arriving at the office
- We are trying to reduce the number of patients in the vestibule and reception area at any one time.
- We recommend to wear a mask inside the office (except when receiving treatment).
- Patients who are suspected of having or test positive for COVID-19 must wear a Level 1 mask before entering the office.
- Brush/floss at home prior to your appointment.
Office PPE and Equipment
- We wear personal protective equipment (PPE) according to our guidelines – such as N95 masks, face shields, healthcare PAPR units, gowns.
- In response to the Royal College of Dentists of Ontario guidelines we have added doors to each of the clinical treatment rooms.
- Our office has medical grade air purification systems in each treatment room and throughout the entire building.
- Plexiglass screen and a touch less pay pad at the front desk.
